Reflective Practice - Presentation

Today we had to present our research and ideas of upcycling. The past two weeks were very useful and exciting. I found really good and inspiring stuff on the internet which I actually will make at my own home.
I have never thought that I will stop throwing away things like before. This project made me think about upcycling is a really good way to design in low budget if needed for someone.
So I was thinking to reuse the eggs cartoon boxes and make some decoration from it.
Ingredients:
eggs cartoon box, sizer, knife, paintbrush, colour paint, LED lights (2 metre)
additional: plastic leaves, bamboo sticks
HOW I MADE IT STEP BY STEP:
VIDEO EXPLANATION
I had learnt a lot during this small project. The day when we had to present our ideas about upcycling, I have seen four other different exciting idea from other small groups of my class.
It is really interesting to see how people can come up with very differently from the same theme.
I really liked the clock which was made from cd's:

Another favourite is the small table from hangers and plastic:

It was an interesting idea from Kieran and Bilal's bridge which make me think of novel ways of enjoying the river:

The protector shell for homeless people was another interesting idea. They would use bubble wrap and other materials which could be upcycled for the shell. I quiet liked the way how Kelsie's group perform their ideas with the quiz questions. It was a great activity to arouse the auidence interests.
