Marketing design practice

In this topic I will record how I create my own logo, step by step.

Naming
Brand names are an important aspect in setting the tone and personality of a brand, as well as being a key element in marketing activity.
Choosing my name is a difficult task in itself, but it’s made even harder because so many are already in use and trademarked. I was considering of use the name of Dekany Design for a company, but it is already in use and protected by law. Then I was considering of use in hungarian spelling of my surname as Dékány Design.
Finally, I decided to be my brand name is Dekany Interiors, which has three characteristic word under (determination, creativity, elegance).
Defining my brand
There are a few key aspects to consider: The big idea – what lies at the heart of my company? How can I stand out? What is my offer? What makes me different? Values – what do I believe in? Vision – where am I going? Personality – how do I want to come across? — Graphic design: the visual identity is soft and friendly. — Tone of voice: The language I use (both spoken and written) relaxed. — Dialogue: My users or customers contribute ideas get involved in the organisation. — High Level of Customer Service.
Vision
Generating a vision for your company means thinking about the future, where you want to be, looking at ways to challenge the market or transform a sector. A vision may be grand and large-scale, or may be as simple as offering an existing product in a completely new way, or even changing the emphasis of your business from one core area to another.
Values
Like the word ‘brand’ itself, the term ‘brand values’ is perhaps a little over-used in design and marketing circles, but it does relate to important aspects of how people see your organisation. It’s what you stand for and it can be communicated either explicitly or implicitly in what you do. But imbuing your company’s brand with a set of values is tricky for a number of reasons.
Firstly, everybody wants the same kinds of values to be associated with their business. A survey by The Research Business International (now part of Synovate) found that

most companies share the same ten values, namely: quality, openness, innovation, individual responsibility, fairness, respect for the individual, empowerment, passion, flexibility, teamwork and pride.
Personality
Once you have established your ‘big idea’, vision and values, they can be communicated to consumers through a range of channels. The way you decide to present this communication – the tone, language and design, for example – can be said to be the personality of your company.

The Logo
There are many ways to start designing a logo, but I'll begin by sketching on paper.
The process of getting concepts down on paper and then iterating on those ideas can unlock new directions to explore and final solutions that I wouldn't have normally arrived at when starting on the computer.
My favourites:

After selected my best sketched concepts, I started iterating on them digitally.

The Identity System
The identity system usually starts after the logo is complete. The purpose of the identity system is to form a systematic visual language around the logo — one that compliments the design thinking of the logo and offers a family of useful, flexible elements that will help to design marketing and business collateral.
Here is an example:

BEING SUCCESSFUL
Steps - wikiHow how your personal brand grows stronger.
1. Look at your personal brand as an investment.
2. Set goals for your public image.
3. Run a blog or website that is all you.
4. Try to be personally ubiquitous without over-stretching or over-exposing yourself.
5. Keep your brand fresh.
6. Continue learning and updating your knowledge, especially if your expertise is based around the online world.
7. Don’t just agree with other people you admire.
8. Get people talking. Try to build relationships with as many people as possible. Get to know their real names and remember details about them. Not only is this fun and good karma, it leaves a strong impression on the people who interact with you.
9.: Build name recognition with influencers. In this instance an influencer is any person with an audience that you want to reach. Comment on their writing, keep track of them on social media, help them when they ask for it, if they have a blog try to guest-post (it must be your best stuff!).
